25 teams (100 kids) proved that the heat can’t stop them from a little competition. Each kid ran a half mile leg from the MoPac bridge on Stratford Drive to Zilker Park and back. Some of the teams were so fast they lapped the other slower teams (mine) twice!! We have some very impressive runners in Austin and 1379 is thankful to have been a part of such a fun race! Thanks to Paul Perrone for organizing the whole thing and we hope to see everyone out again next year!
