The Expedition School is hosting the 6th annual Reel Paddling Film Festival at Fiesta Gardens on Saturday, August 13th, from 9 am-11 p.m. The schedule will be as follows:
- 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Packet pickup and on site registration for Waterman’s Race and Freestyle Competition at Fiesta Gardens. *On site registration @ Fiesta Gardens will be open from 8:30am – 11:30am for Waterman’s Race and 3-6pm for Freestyle competition – add $5 for day of race registration. *Race registration gets you a free ticket in to the Reel Paddling Film Fest.
- 9-11 a.m. Keep Austin Beautiful cleanup of Festival Beach and the surrounding waterway
- 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Waterman’s Race – register here!. Registration deadline is August 11 at 11:59 p.m.
- 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Late packet pickup for Freestyle Competition at Fiesta Gardens
- 6 p.m. Doors open for the film festival- You must have a Reel Paddling Film Festival ticket to enter! Buy tickets now via the Alamo Drafthouse!
- 6:05pm – Texas Parks and Wildlife Paddling and Fishing Demo – kids and families welcome!
- 7 p.m. Flatwater Freestyle Competition – register here! Online registration deadline is August 11 at 11:59 p.m or register on site for an additional $5 from 3-6pm @ Fiesta Gardens. Click here to find out more about this competition!
- 7:45 p.m. Awards given for the Waterman’s Race and the Freestyle Competition
