Saturday at West Austin Youth was a blast for all the kids who came out. Here are a couple of the moms who got to watch their kids do 10 different activities for the Food in Tummies program for the Junior League of Austin. The 11th station was a place for all the kids to fill backpacks for other kids who might not have food to eat over the weekend.
It was such a great opportunity for kids to get some activity but with the added slant of learning service at the same time. Mayor Leffingwell and City Council member Randi Shade came out to speak to the kids to encourage them a continued life of activity and service.
Thanks to WAYA for allowing the Junior League and the Food in Tummies program to have their fun 5-4-3-2-1 field day at their facility!!!
