1379 has been busy in the community the last few weeks. This is a picture of some very proud 1379 kids who have thoroughly worn their shoes in. Maybe too far but I always think the more dirt and more wear and tear, the more fun you’ve been having. The orange pair of Saucony Kinvaras in the middle were worn by one of the big winners at the Junior Dillo. Team 1379 had some great kids out that day….most with smiles on their faces.
The Junior Dillo is one of my favorite races because like the AAPER Cross Country run in the fall, the Junior Dillo splits all the kids into age groups so they don’t have 11-year-olds running against 5-year-olds. Before and after their heats, kids can run back and forth on the course and cheer for their friends or siblings in other age groups. It’s a really fun race. Put Junior Dillo on your calendar for mid-March next year and look for the 1379 team discount.
