Visit the Sunset Valley Farmers’ Market on Saturday, April 16 for a Green Easter Egg Hunt! At 9:30 a.m. there will be a hunt for little folks (1-5 year olds), which will be followed by a hunt for bigger kids (6-10 year olds).
From the SFC Farmers’ Market website:
A “green” hunt with no sugar and high fun! Egg cascarones are filled with grass seed and kiddos are encouraged to ‘break’ the eggs over their friends and family member’s heads to make the scene green. Also egg inspired coupons to redeem for a ‘sweet’ carrot or strawberry direct from the farmer. Free egg collecting bags to first 100.
There will also be a Chef Tasting Extravaganza with chefs making dishes using food from the vendors.
