What to do:
Learn about life in Texas during the late 1800s. There is a house, barn with animals and a farm to visit. Located between the Pedernales and Blanco Rivers, this a great place to hike with your kids and learn some history, too. The 1-mile packed dirt trail is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Restrooms are located in the visitor’s center and near the picnic tables. This is a great place to take the kids and out of town guests. Pack a picnic or eat in nearby restaurants.
