October 8th is the first day of ACL. If you were unable to rent your house on HomeAway for the weekend and won’t be caught dead near Barton Springs Road, get your team together and head towards UT. It’s time to watch the University of Texas Women’s Soccer Team!
The Longhorns will play Texas Tech on Friday, October 8th at 7p.m. Following the game, “Kung Fu Panda” will be shown on the video board and fans are invited to watch the movie on their own blankets from the soccer field. For $7 you get a ticket the game and the movie, a hot dog, chips and a small drink. This ticket bundle is available until October 7th by calling 512.232.3865. (A one-day pass to ACL is $85.)
Women’s Soccer Trivia
- Head Coach Chris Petrucelli is in his 12th year as the UT women’s soccer coach. He came to Texas from Notre Dame.
- UNC won 16 of the first 20 NCAA Women’s Soccer Championships
