So, I’ve been so busy having fun with my family that I forgot to write about how much fun we’re having. My advice for the week is to enjoy one of the many parks in Austin. One of my favorites is Zilker but not the Zilker that most of us think of. Not the side with the ducks, pigeons, snow cones, huge playground, and train. I mean the other side where ACL is with the acres and acres of green grass, rock-climbing in the middle, soccer fields throughout, and a sand pit with volleyball for us and digging for them.
What’s nice about the open area of Zilker is that it forces kids to come up with games. Using the park and not man-made toys to entertain. Moving from the rock climbing into a full sprint across the field chasing a dog or out-running their parents. Pack a picnic and go for it.
