I know this might bring you back to some scary days of polyester pants riding way too high and serious people with all their gear, but our family has the best time bowling. Yes, bowling!! Our youngest likes to watch all the action and hear the balls hit the pins and our other three can participate as long as they put the bumpers up. We usually go to Dart Bowl because they have a full restaurant so you can go over a meal time and kill two birds with one stone. They have a ton of leagues and parties so you might call ahead to see if there is availability, 452-2518.
And, as you know, I would usually recommend going out to one of our beautiful parks wearing 1379′s clothes and shoes. But with the weather forecast, enjoy some time inside trying to break 100 and attempting to beat your kids in one of America’s favorite (and oddest) hobbies.
