Little Helping Hands is an inspiring community service where young children can experience compassion and social responsibility through community service activities.

They want to give resources to parents/caregivers, educators, and businesses looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities suitable for young children in the Austin community. By creating hands on volunteer activities, they provide ongoing opportunities to instill the value of community service in early childhood.

When you look at the website they have opportunities for you and children to plan a day together. They have Kids Cooking for Charity which gives children the opportunity to learn and practice basic cooking skills and at the same time support a great cause like Dream Dinners, Ronald McDonald House, and Vincare. Lil Green Hands program involves volunteer activities that support caring for our environment such as gardening or planting, park/city clean-ups, and harvesting local produce. Hodgepodge Helpers is our catch-all program that typically includes activities or projects that involve sorting, packaging or assembling, organizing, art work, decorating or one-time special projects.

These are just some of the opportunities that Little Helping Hands has to offer. So look them up. http://www.littlehelpinghands.org.
